Prevention
At French Run Family Dental, we focus on prevention. We start seeing children as young as 3, and are proud of the multitude of pictures on our “No Cavity Club” Board. We offer sealants to our children to fill in the deep grooves on the permanent molars that are so prone to decay. We believe through regular check ups and exams, as well as good hygiene at home, you can have a beautiful smile that lasts a lifetime.
Restorative
Our doctors can perform fillings, fabricate implant crowns and perform most root canals and extractions. We offer Nitrous Oxide (laughing gas) to help our anxious or fearful patients. Some cavities may be treated with Air Abrasion. Air Abrasion uses air and powder instead of a drill and most often anesthesia is not required. This technique is especially good for children. Diagnodent is a revolutionary new technology that can locate hidden internal decay before it destroys the tooth structure. This is completely safe and pain free. We also diagnose and provide periodontal maintenance to our patients with beginning and advanced gum disease.
Prosthodontics
We fabricate crowns, bridges, dentures, partials and implant crowns. These prosthodontics are made to look like your natural teeth and create a fabulous smile.
Digital Radiography
In January 2006, digital radiography was introduced in our office. There are numerous benefits to this technology. First, the patient is exposed to less than half the amount of radiation of traditional x-rays. Second, the dentist is able to look at images on a 19-inch monitor rather than a film the size of a postage stamp. The doctor is able to bring out aspects of the image using magnification and brightness control. The result is a much higher diagnostic quality for the dentist. Third and lastly, you, the patient, are able to instantly see a large screen image of your x-ray, allowing involvement in the diagnosis and planning of treatment.
Cosmetic
Looking to brighten up that smile? We offer safe, affordable whitening procedures to bring the shine back to those pearly whites. You’ll see the results in a short time. In most instances, we use white fillings (composite) to keep your smile as natural as possible. Porcelain veneers are available for crooked or stained teeth.
